They are using the different technology
2. What are the differences?
We need internet service while using Web based application. But we can use standalone application anywhere anytime without internet service.
3. When is the appropriate time to develop standalone applications or web-based application?
When we need more than one user to use the application we need to develop web- based application. Standalone application is suitable for one user only each time and when there is no internet service.
4. Which one you prefer?
It depend on the purpose that we develop the application.

Courseware is a term that combines the words 'course' with 'software'. Its meaning originally was used to describe additional educational material intended as kits for teachers or trainers or as tutorials for students, usually packaged for use with a computer.

Audio, video, text, graphic and animation

It able to distribute through CD (Compact Disc) and DVD (Digital Versatile Disk)

A or webpage is a document or information resource that is suitable for the World Wide Web and can be accessed through a web browser and displayed on a monitor or mobile device.
A web portal is a site (often a system) that creates a single point of access to information collected from different sources or collection of website.
2. What are multimedia elements that can be integrated into a webpage?

3. How to integrate graphics into a webpage?
To embed the graphics into a web page we need to use the code or just insert it through website designed software.
4. What are the graphics file extensions that can be accepted in WWW medium?
JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF

We have to know the data base skill to make the webpage interactive.
10. What are ASP, JSP, Cold Fusion, PHP etc?
ASP-An application service provider is a business that provides computer-based services to customers over a network.
JPS- JavaServer Pages lets you separate the dynamic part of your pages from the static HTML.
Cold Fusion- is a programming language based on standard HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) that is used to write dynamic web pages. It lets you create pages on the fly that differ depending on user input, database lookups, time of day or whatever other criteria.

one can't always find the answers on the spot..sometimes they will only realize and really understand them as they go along with the lesson...
